Suffolk County Nepali Samaj, NY was established on August 8, 2021, in Suffolk County (Long Island), New York, USA.  As an effort to bring all Nepalese diaspora together, we help each other in hardships as well as celebrate Nepalese culture and festivals together. We attempt to promote our rich culture and heritage to the international community here in the United States through different ways like playing traditional musical instruments and wearing Nepalese costumes in public events, actively participating in programs like the Nepal day parade, and inviting people from international communities in our festivals and events. 

To preserve and disseminate our beautiful language, we teach the Nepali language in public libraries to kids from Nepali as well as international communities. In addition, we also help Nepalese immigrants understand American culture and language to smoothen their transition into American life.

Besides helping the Nepalese community, we have also been helping other communities through different social activities like blood donation programs, youth, and sports activities as well as language, culture, and religious exchange programs. 

We are proud to have some of the greatest folk singers, music players, and artists in our society. We are diversely rich and we are a melting pot of all races, religions, and ethnicity.
